Northern Lights Bluegrass and OldTyme Music Society presents: The Quensbury Breakdowns
12:30PM at Les Sherman Park

They’ve rambled into town for one afternoon only to show off some lightning licks and foot-stomping fun. Channeling the spirit of Bill Munroe and The Stanley Brothers, The Queensbury Breakdowns are the bluegrass fix you didn’t know you needed!

Instrument Petting Zoo
1:00PM at Les Sherman Park

We’ll have guitars, banjos, mandolins, dobros and a stand-up bass you can try out for yourself!

Street Fair
All Day

We will have our booth set-up for the entire duration of the Cathedral Village Street Festival. Come say hello!

Festival Jam
2PM at the Cathedral Neighbourhood Center

A special jam to celebrate the festival. For more information on our jams, please visit our Jams page.

Northern Lights Bluegrass and OldTyme Music Society presents: An Old Time Dance with Emily and Ben Dubois, Cathy Spoule and Rowan Teasdale.
7:30PM at St. Mary the Virgin Anglican Church

When she isn’t playing for dances, Emily Dubois runs her own fiddle studio, the Flatland Fiddling Studio, in Regina (www.flatlandfiddling.com). She teaches private and group lessons, and will be holding workshops over the summer specifically for dance tunes and another for those wanting to learn right from scratch! Join Emily Dubois and friends for a lovely night of called dances, with no previous experience required! Learn, right on the spot, dances such as a Polka, Waltz, Schottische, a Virginia Reel, the Sweets of May, and a Square Dance!
