THAT'S A WRAP!

We are pleased to announce the successful conclusion of the 2023 Music Camp and Festival. We would like to express our sincerest thanks to everyone who came out to support this incredible event. Over the course of the festival, we were treated to an array of exceptional musical performances, inspiring talks and workshops, and a vibrant community of music lovers and professionals. We are grateful for the hard work and dedication of all the talented musicians, organizers, volunteers, and sponsors who helped make this year’s festival a resounding success.
Highlights include happy reunion and tearful goodbye of ‘Happy Trails, Prospector’, The dancing of Martha Spencer, horse drawn wagon rides, puppet making workshop, the Northern Lights merch tie dye station, stargazing sky tour, and I think for most, it was when everyone moved indoors on Saturday night for the dance. The hall was so full there was barely room to fit but the bar was run dry and everyone had the best time! The sun came out in full force on Sunday and the stage filled with everyone and anyone singing along to a goodbye song. It was our best year yet and we look forward to seeing you all again next year for an even bigger and better festival experience.

Mark your calendars for next year’s dates

About Us

The Northern Lights Bluegrass and Old Tyme Music Society Inc. has been formed to teach, promote, encourage, foster and cultivate the education, preservation, appreciation, understanding, enjoyment, accessibility, support and performance of traditional instrumental and vocal music in Saskatchewan. The education component and connection to our prairie heritage makes the organization more than a festival and entertainment provider – it is part of the culture of the province and an active participant in making and preserving music history.
