The Northern Lights Bluegrass and Old Time Music Society (NLBOTMS) is a non-profit, registered charitable organization based in the heart of the Canadian prairies: Saskatchewan. While our camp and festival are highlights of the year, our work extends far beyond these events in August. We preserve and promote traditional music in Saskatchewan through education, performance, and community initiatives at the Northern Lights Bluegrass and Old Time Music Society. Alongside our annual camp and festival at Ness Creek, we run year-round programs across multiple cities, creating opportunities for musicians and music lovers throughout the province.
We offer year-round programming in Regina, Saskatoon, and Prince Albert, and this year alone, we’ve provided additional programming in various Saskatchewan communities like Martensville, McLean, Coronach, La Ronge, and more!
We are always actively seeking additional funding through grants and sponsorships, but the current economic climate makes securing those funds uncertain. We invite our community to support us through donations where possible.
